Under the general direction of the AVP Operations Issues Mgmt, this individual will be responsible for performing professional‑level root cause analysis and resolution of Originations issues. This individual will be responsible individually for reporting, reviewing and analyzing audit findings, government insuring defects, capital markets defects and any other loan deficiencies which would impact any financial, operational and/or compliance programs per company policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Adhere to general work requirements Serve as subject matter expert within the team and apply specialized knowledge to support the organization’s vision and direction Respond to NORs and Pre-Endorsement issues and elevate as applicable Knowledge of FHA connection and the VA portal, reporting and insuring requirements Knowledge of FHA and VA programs and guidelines Act as a liaison with Correspondents to resolve insuring and audit response escalated items Work with billing, accounting, repurchase, operations, risk, qc and any other internal business partners on insuring and audit findings. Work with sites, individuals and third parties to obtain missing documentation for insurance defects and binders Assist with defective loan resolution and document remedy for loan sales, capital markets, audits, investors, agencies etc.. Trend and track errors for training and remediation opportunities Train and assist department peers Work on special projects as assigned by management Act as a team resource Perform other duties as assigned
