The IT Desktop Technician II provides IT support for surrounding Xome Labs client sites.

The Desktop Technician II responsibilities include IT infrastructure deployments and projects, as well as troubleshooting and resolving daily technical issues.

Technical responsibilities will be primarily focused on Windows & Apple Devices, LAN, printers and related technologies, including both software administration and hardware configuration/installation.

This position roles up into the Systems Engineering team, not support desk, in order to facilitate daily projects and requests for Systems Engineering.

Travel will be required to field sites to support projects, deployments and production issues.

Core Requirements:

  • 5+ years IT support experience. Team Lead experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with Windows & Apple devices, SCCM and Skype for Business.
  • Role requires excellent communication, project planning and coordination skills. Customer service is the number one trait for this position.
  • Travel is required, all candidates must currently have a reliable car for traveling to surrounding offices.

Responsible for providing in-house technical PC hardware and software support for associates located in US and India. Will respond to user calls/trouble reports and personally visit associates to troubleshoot the nature of the problem and take the necessary course of action to resolve it.
