ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

In partnership with each HR VP, develop and manage the HR Project Plan and ensure key milestones are identified and communicated to key stakeholders.

  • Project manager for the following annual ‘events’ and others as needed:
    • Annual performance and merit planning
    • Annual MIP and equity planning
    • Succession Management rollout and coordination
  • In concert with the HR VPs and HRBP teams, ensure the delivery of key project milestones are on time and within budget, resource and policy
  • Act as the primary liaison with Workday team on system issues
  • Devise and manage a regular project reporting mechanism for the HRBP team and appropriate business leaders
  • Conduct a ‘post-mortem’ after key projects to diagnose future improvement areas and report back to COE’s
  • Devise and coordinate key dashboards for each channel i.e. reporting, analytics, dashboards etc.
  • Coordinates regular update meetings/communication of projects with HRBP team and appropriate stakeholders
  • Coordinates and facilitates monthly HRBP meeting with full HRBP team – arranging topics, guest speakers, team updates etc.
  • Create HR metric dashboards for each business and provide insights into attrition, hiring, top talent stats, and more
  • Assist with HRBP responsibilities as needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5-8 years’ experience in HR Generalist/Business Partner role
  • Proven experience directing project management activities
  • Proficient in MS Office products (PowerPoint, Word and Visio)
  • Demonstrated advanced MS Excel skills (creating pivot tables and v-look ups and manipulating large volumes of data from multiple sources with accuracy)
  • Ability to analyze data and document trends
  • Ability to create processes including all supporting documentation (project plans, process outlines, user training, etc)
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and interact with all levels of the organization utilizing excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with and support management in various environments with changing business conditions
  • Ability to adapt to and facilitate change
  • Ability to work independently

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to travel when requested, minimal travel (less than 5%)
  • General office environment
  • No specific physical requirements

Summary

Provides human resources projection management and planning support across multiple functions and/or business units. Uses knowledge of various human resources functions, including staffing, compensation, benefits, training and employee relations to provide tactical HR support to line managers. Consults with business unit management in the strategic planning process and development of human resources strategies that support the unit's business needs. Acts as a liaison to other human resources functions when necessary.
