What is FLASH Manufacturing

Your team. Flash Manufacturing is a new fulfillment process using a state of the art workflow system, BOSS Director.  We are pushing the boundaries of the mortgage industry and challenging the way our company thinks and behaves. We are reimagining data integration, workflow prioritization, task specialization and workforce optimization to drive down cycle times and costs while delighting our customers.

Role Overview

Team Learning and Culture: This role makes Mr. Cooper more efficient by innovating from the front lines through to funding. Team members will continually iterate to improve our processes, quality and automation, while strengthening our understanding of customers as well as sales, underwriting and funding to build deeper relationships. Team members share knowledge, raise ideas and support peers.

Management and Operations: You are responsible for the overall leadership, management and direction for a team of employees. completing file data entry, prep for underwriting reviews, and data and document resolutions for Flash Manufacturing.  You will have direct responsibility for 8 - 12 employees who are managing upwards of 100 – 150 employees with multiple skill levels (Flash Fireworks, Prep for UW, Title Review and Resolution and others as defined).

Key Responsibilities

No day will be the same, but some key responsibilities include:

Develops and implements process flows / policies & procedures along with reporting to ensure that Flash Manufacturing loan production and task completion meets company credit risk and quality guidelines as well as meeting established turn time SLA’s. Maintains excellent client quality and satisfaction scores in part through strong client relations coupled with industry leading turn times. Ensures groups in multiple locations are operating off the same “play book” at all times for consistency. Ensures appropriate staffing levels are maintained and that all team members receive appropriate training & development to successfully discharge their job responsibilities. Administers performance management of all personnel to include the development & implementation of position accountability, goals & performance metrics focusing on the maximization of business value and periodic performance reporting for all personnel. Manages expenditures within budgeted levels while ensuring superior delivery. Manages client loan pipeline through use of pipeline reports and other tools to meet or exceed established turn time SLAs Interacts with clients and company sales staff on complex or unique issues and problems to effectively resolve. All other responsibilities as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications

Demonstrated grown in a past role that challenged you to learn new behaviors and/or acquire new skills.

Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred.  Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.

Familiarity and knowledge of agency and government loan programs and guidelines.

Experience should include 5+ years’ experience in originations encompassing sales, processing, and underwriting conventional and government loans.  Experience in loan closing / funding experience is helpful.

At least 3 years’ experience managing teams.

Ability to pass a background check, credit check and drug screening.
