Job Summary:

The Private Label Portfolio Oversight Specialist is responsible for Non-Performing Loan (“NPL”) Portfolio Oversight.  This will include with the assisting in the creation/prioritization of appropriate default servicing metrics, analyzing and tracking default servicing performance, working with various departments to resolve issues, and reporting on the NPL Mortgage Servicing portfolio(s).

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Monitors daily Private Label client requirements.
  • Understand private label servicing requirements as outlined by client.
  • Identify trends and work with business units to improve processes.  Communicate changes to senior management.
  • Perform accurate data input from correspondence for reporting and assignment.
  • Resolves internal/external questions pertaining to Private Label Client requirements
  • Escalates issues as needed based on established guidelines.
  • Coordinate regular meetings with departments to review audit requirements/results.
  • Establishes effective professional rapport with both internal & external customers.

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years direct professional experience in a mortgage servicing, vendor management or other similar experience.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry required; Mortgage Servicing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leading project teams within a multi-project environment.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements related to the mortgage industry highly desired.
