Essential Job Functions

  • Provide financial and business support for the Title and Close leadership team through monthly financial business reviews, variance to forecast analysis and ad hoc project as assigned by management.
  • Help the business achieve their financial target and goals through process improvement efforts across the division.
  • Prepare, drive and execute recommendations for action and improvement.
  • Participate in the monthly forecast by preparing, reviewing and competing the forecast cycle
  • Prepare and distribute the monthly financial management package to senior management
  • Manage the development, dissemination, ongoing improvement and automation of key daily and monthly operational reports
  • Proactively identify, track and analyze key financial and non-financial business metrics; with the goal of contributing to business decisions and driving operational results.
  • Identify and drive best practices, standardization, report automation and process improvement across all aspects of planning /budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Ability to build financial models from scratch when not all the necessary information is readily available.
  • Partner with other business support groups like IT and Business Intelligence teams to accomplish the assignment.

    The successful candidate will have:
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy and ability to review self created work
  • Excellent computer skills, especially MS Excel (Essbase)
  • Proficiency in SQL and Workday a plus
  • Comfortable performing ad-hoc research and analysis
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and problem-solving skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field is required.  Masters/MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years of directly related experience and training. Experience in the Title Insurance industry a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsible for a centralized finance department that provides support to general ledger accounting, financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable. Responsible for all financial planning (short-term and long-term) and analysis operations including financial controls (budgets), costs and general accounting. Plays a critical leadership role in providing key financial insight that helps company's strategic decision, financial forecasts and operating plans. May oversee the preparation and analysis of the annual operating plans and earnings projections.
