Minimum 2-5 years of total experience.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, economics, or finance, or equivalent work experience.
Experience in risk management - regulatory, operational, technology, credit, and / or enterprise risks.
Experience in preparing and presenting materials to an executive level audience. Excellent oral and written communication skills, expert user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
High caliber self-starter and ability to independently operate in a complex environment. Excellent project management skills. Able to deliver in fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
Must be detail-oriented, and able to routinely perform quality assurance checks on own and other’s work.
Ability to quickly understand end-to-end processes of complex business operations through multiple channels of information gathering, to identify risks, process gaps, and collaborate with stakeholders to problem-solve, and lead issue through full resolution.
Ability to influence and interface effectively with all levels of management.
Ability to understand and explain complex issues and the ability to compromise and negotiate with senior leaders and peers.
Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships across business, functions, and lines of defense.
Understanding of financial analysis – able to work with financial statements / reports.
Experience with Mortgage and/or financial services organizations.
Experience with data analytics and advanced data analytics tools such as SQL/SAS is a plus.
