JOB SUMMARY

The Document Control Associate II will analyze, research, and administer the tracking of final documents and work closely with company employees, our custodian, and vendors to facilitate complete and accurate chain of title.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Register, track, and ship collateral files/documents.
  • Explore and analyze files for missing documentation.
  • Assist in absolving problem files and documentation associated with these files.
  • Run reports and scan documents.
  • Manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Successful implementation of projects and process improvements according to established timelines and strategic direction of the company. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Education & Professional Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 1 year of related work experience. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Mortgage services experience required. One year customer service experience required.
  • Leadership/Hierarchy:  Operates effectively under general supervision on routine assignments; receives instructions on new assignments.
  • Level of Decision Making: Semi-routine work assignments that sometimes vary outside of established routine. Takes ownership of problems and determines a solution.
  • Individual/Customer Impact: Decisions and actions have impact on success of team or department. Scope of work occasionally impacts assigned business area and/or its processes; ability to demonstrate positive impact on customer experience.
  • Communication: Proficient in verbal and written form as appropriate for varying audiences; ability to prepare clear written correspondence.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate intermediate computer and software skills necessary for job function. Exposure to mortgage-specific software. Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
