Essential Job Functions:

  • Execute/Notarize documents in accordance with state requirements.
  • Gather and process required mortgage documents to ensure completion of Lien Release/Satisfaction of mortgage process.
  • Manage check registers to balance accounts and ensure compliance.
  • Assist with the movement of critical mortgage related documents.
  • Identify document defects and reconcile those items.
  • Partner with other business groups to complete large scale projects.
  • Create, execute and/or mail mortgage documents to the county or attorney offices for document recording.

Core Requirements:

  • Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred. A high school diploma or state accepted equivalency is required.
  • Knowledge of systems including Microsoft Office and proprietary software products used to support of business.
  • General knowledge of mortgage related documents and processes (Lien Release, Assignment of Mortgage, Note, Power of Attorney, UCC Financing Statements)
