JOB SUMMARY – Support Developer
The Servicing Systems Support Developer provides application support for Loan Servicing. The support position will include troubleshooting errors, researching problems and/or questions, performing special requests for the end users, performing SQL updates, make small programming changes, and perform administrative configuration changes. They will also participate in discovery sessions with members of the user community to diagnose problems and/or to gain a better understanding of the system or business. May also work on small projects and enhancements as time permits or needs arise. Must be able to balance performing multiple tasks and/or items at the same time.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Analyzing business requirements, processes, data sets and systems to determine and suggest appropriate solutions.
Will be providing support to the application by troubleshooting and resolve system errors. Will handle and solve Incident, Problem, Request and Change Management process. Has a daily interaction with multiple groups including: business users, IT, vendors and customers. This will help to define current and future application requirements and changes. Perform application configuration changes using established procedures.
Resolves customer issues with software solutions and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. Design, code, test, debug and document software according to systems standards, policies and, procedures, security and compliance requirements. Provide documentation, information, and perform special requests as requested for changes and ongoing processes. Make small changes defined program changes.
Participate in programmer on call rotation during and after business hours. Maintains a high level of personal commitment and accountability to the business and IT team(s). Focus maintained on quality and customer service.
Provide regular time tracking and issue/task feedback data as requested. Ability to work on multiple tasks of varying criticality at the same time is a must. Communicate in a positive manner with customers, internal partners, external vendors, team members, and other IT teams.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred. Equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job will be considered.
Proficiency in productivity tools required (MS Office, SQL Queries, updates using SQL,)
Organizational skills are must and be able to demonstrate strong aptitude towards managing multiple assignments.
Project management and/or Quality Assurance skills will show the ability to self-manage workload to meet all expected delivery dates.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skill with both technical and non-technical audiences is critical.
Sturdy analysis and design skills to research root causes and suggest programming changes to prevent future issues.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve under pressure for short durations.
How many years of directly related job experience are required to be qualified to enter the job?
5+ years of programming experience in all forms of RPG and CL in an AS/400 environment with Imbedded SQL, service programs, web services, commitment control, and error handling, Secured FTP and PGP.
5+ years of experience in an IT or QA or Project Manager/Business Analysis role within a Financial Services Industry preferably Mortgage Servicing is preferred.
Systems integration, AS400 systems and security support, SQL, DB2 database concepts.
5+ years of experience in an IT role within Financial Services Industry preferably Mortgage Servicing is preferred.
Experience with COBOL in an AS/400 environment is an advantage.
Experience with LSAMS Servicing System is an advantage.
Experience with change management tools (Implementer, Turnover, ARCAD).
Tools such as RDI, XAnalysis, Hawkeye, ZMOD, Surveyor/400, MySQL, WinSCP, FileZilla, IFS etc are also a plus.
