Mr. Cooper earns fees through the delivery of quality servicing, origination and transaction based services principally related to single-family residences throughout the United States. Mr. Cooper is one of the largest servicers in the United States, with a residential mortgage servicing portfolio of over $400 billion in unpaid principal balance, and over 2.4 million customers as of June 30, 2015. Mr. Cooper provides services and solutions to homeowners, home buyers, home sellers, investors and other real estate market participants.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Conducts interviews and recommends hiring of staff
Manages day to day activities of the sales staff
Weekly meetings informing staff of expectations and weekly/monthly goals
Holds regular meetings with the sales staff, reviewing sales strategies, best practices, new products and product enhancements.
Coaching & Mentoring of Mortgage Professionals in order to increase production performance and best in class customer service
Oversee sales staff relationships and customer service to buyer and listing real estate agents
Set and Achieve monthly performance standards
Set and Achieve monthly call queue performance standards
Monitor Mortgage Professional originations, funding’s and loan conversion percentages performance
Ensure regulatory compliance in all areas
Weekly training, covering new products and procedure changes
Daily meetings with AVP/VP’s
Sales Team pipeline management
Ensures that sales staff is following company policies and procedures
Assistance with daily tasks such as DU/LP
Support of company and division culture
Commit to continuous self-improvement of self and team members
Other duties as assigned
FUNCTIONAL JOB COMPETENCIES
Demonstrate the ability to train, motivate and develop a sales team
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have two years of management experience in the mortgage banking industry
Minimum of 5 years of mortgage banking sales experience is preferred
