This role is responsible for performing financial analysis, creating and using financial models and producing internal financial reporting for Mr. Cooper Group. The successful candidate will work with finance partners across business segments to monitor and model business performance and create reporting for executive leadership. 

Essential job functions include:

  • Performing financial modeling of Mr. Cooper Group income statement, balance sheet and cashflow for a 3-5 year time horizon.
  • Monitoring, forecasting and reporting on specific items on Corporate P&L including corporate debt interest expense.
  • Performing ad hoc analysis and financial modeling. 
  • Preparing reports and presentations for executive reviews including board materials.
  • Improving processes by using financial systems and tools.

Job Competencies:

  • Ability to work within a team in a highly demanding environment
  • Ability to create financial models and presentations with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to both take direction and show initiative.

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required
  • CPA preferred
  • 2 - 5 years finance/accounting experience preferred
  • Strong Excel skills including financial modeling and use of Essbase or TM1 add-in applications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
