The Senior Software Developer is primarily responsible for developing and supporting software projects, functions and completing specific client work, projects and miscellaneous tasks while ensuring commitment and quality through to completion.  

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Will work in close partnership with developers, business analysts, QA, and reporting teams to drive adherence to the overall data program for application(s) in scope.
  • Expected to design and develop web services such as SOAP, WCF, RESTful Services.
  • Expected to utilize the following tools/skills: .Net Programming; MVC, Web API; integrating applications through various data-formats – XML, JSON, CSV, Excel; LINQ, ADO.Net, ORM Tools – Entity Frameworks; and automate testing using frameworks like NUnit.


  • Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred. Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience, with background in C#, ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server. 5 years of professional experience as a software developer / programmer analyst in depth knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework and related technologies.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming (OOD, OOP) and Design Patterns.
  • .NET development (C#.NET, WPF, Entity Framework, ADO.NET, ASP.NET, MVVM, MVC)
  • .NET Web Services, WCF, REST
  • Database Development experience, including SQL Server 2016, to include Stored Procedures,
  • Utilization of JavaScript, ASP,, HTML 5, NodeJS, XML, XSD, XSL, AJAX, JQuery
  • Understanding of CSS, and API¬ driven / MVC or Web API user interface frameworks
  • Experience with classic ASP and Classic VB, COM/DCOM applications a plus.
  • Exposure to VSTS
  • Microsoft certifications preferred.
  • Experience with the Mortgage Industry or Financial Applications preferred.
  • Experience implementing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) preferred.
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile Methodology preferred.
