The position will be responsible for supporting the Compliance Licensing team with compliance functions regarding licensing for the company’s Home Advisors (and licensed team members) on a day-to-day basis.

Job Duties:

  • Professional and responsive communication with internal and external partners/customers
  • Collegial and team-minded interaction with colleagues and management
  • Consistent and timely performance of all tasks
  • Consistent demonstration of independence in carrying out activities
  • Assist Compliance Licensing in verifying current or required licensing for active Home Advisors (and licensed team members, as needed)
  • Conduct Licensing Orientation to the New Hires
  • Schedule appointments with vendors
  • Process licensing documents
  • Enter information into the Compliance Licensing system of record database
  • Compliance tasks as assigned
  • Notarizing licensing documents (If the candidate isn’t a Notary Public, we will have the Licensing Specialist apply for it.)

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least one-year in regulatory, compliance, risk management or mortgage company. Requirement for a degree may be substituted by at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional work ethic and strong desire to succeed
  • Ability to perform quality work within deadlines.
  • Excellent organization skills with attention to details.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Confident decision making, sound judgement and good problem solving
  • Strong critical thinking and research skills.
  • Knowledge and Experience in Archer, Outlook and Microsoft teams is preferred
  • Advanced MS Office skills specifically Excel, Adobe, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong Initiative with willingness to take on responsibilities and new challenge

Summary

Responsible for obtaining and maintaining all regulatory licenses and tracking individual license and education. In addition, this job function requires processing and submission of new branch licenses and renewal of existing licenses to maintain compliance with all state licensing laws. Facilitates acquisition of any additional licenses that may be required for new or changed business lines
