The Manager of Payoff & Liquidations is responsible for the planning, administration and management the Payoff/Liquidation function working with both onshore and offshore resources. 

Responsible for working closely with Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Cashiering, Collateral Management, REO, Risk & Controls, Customer Care, Originations and other Internal partners to manage and accommodate all Payoff and Liquidation related activities.  This role will be accountable for the development and management of staff, continuous process improvement, fiscal control and effective capacity management. The Manager accountabilities include ensuring operations and personnel have tools and training to help them meet their quality, compliance and risk management targets as well as their productivity thresholds.


  • Responsible for oversight and management of Payoff and Liquidation processes and outputs in both production and development regions
  • Manage relationships and liaise with internal and external resources and senior leaders to meet all business and compliance requirements for payoff.
  • Identification of key risks and implementation of proper remediation plans to ensure they are managed effectively
  • Work with private label leaders on any escalated issue as it relates to payoff processing .
  • Responsible for ensuring Payoff/Liquidation reports are prepared and  delivered including recurring and ad hoc reporting.
  • Analyze all external reporting going out prior to release
  • Create operational flow-charts with business requirements documentation for new processes, control points and other reporting requirements
  • Review and analyze reporting around the Payoff and Liquidation process and speak to any items of interest as requested from executive management
  • Complete customer impact analysis of the Payoff and Liquidation processes for identification and implementation of process improvement strategies
  • Maintain wires within SLA related to payoff/liquidation processing
  • Provide team members with Tools and Training to complete all related tasks timely and accurately


  • Bachelor's degree and typically 7+ years of work-related experience. Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential function of this job. High school diploma or state approved equivalency required.
