The primary responsibilities of the Recording Fee Manager is to provide operational support and direction to Recording Fee Process and team members. Where applicable, this position initiates, plans and executes initiatives while monitoring and controlling the audit processes to ensure the timely delivery of quality solutions in order to execute against plans. Position requires strong mortgage operational experience. Ideal candidate will have a proven track record successful project implementation in the financial services industry.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Supports the business by designing, implementing and managing operational recording fee audit group. Professional and consistent day to day follow-up with business partners and title companies for remediation of loans at risk of being non-compliant as per the existing goals. Perform review of Recording Fee Audit (QC) to confirm accurate and timely completion of audit. Identify opportunities to streamline the process or systems and work within Change Management Process to implement enhancements. Be the subject matter expert on mortgage processes and associated compliance impacts’ must be detailed, organized and a disciplined muti-tasker. Interaction with departments and companies outside of Post Closing (e.g. Legal, IT, Vendors, etc.) for various reasons. Be open to input from all groups. Ensure budget and timelines are met. Provides leadership in analyzing functional requirements, procedures and problems to automate processing and /or improve systems. Manages change control processes for approved projects and ensures program project communications.
