The Diversity & Inclusion Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the integration of diversity and inclusion strategies, policies, procedures and programs throughout Mr. Cooper.  The ideal candidate should be a flexible, creative, organized, self-starter that can anticipate the needs of the team and be the go-to person for data, presentations, and communications.



Ability to speak and write and write effectively and compellingly; Proven analytical and presentation skills; Excellent interpersonal and listening skills


Ability to make clear and timely decisions; Ability to solve problems while working under pressure; Ability to meet deadlines to establish clear priorities; Ability to multitask, prioritize and see projects through completion; Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision or outside motivation

Technical Expertise

Expert in software used to plan, prepare and execute projects as well as technological skills

  • Assist with developing, communicating, and implementing diversity and inclusion strategies, programs and processes
  • Assist with oversight of the employee resource groups including execution and management of programs and membership
  • Maintains diversity and inclusion communications across company communications channels
  • Research diversity and inclusion surveys and awards and assist to develop and create submission packages
  • Conduct internal and external benchmarking and maintain knowledge of diversity and inclusion best practices
  • Build and foster relationships with employees as a diversity and inclusion resource at the organization
  • Partner with Communications, Marketing, Human Resources and line of business leaders to advance the integration of diversity and inclusion practices and principles throughout the organization
  • Performs other job responsibilities as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience  
  • 2-3 years related work experience preferred
  • Knowledge of current diversity and inclusion practices and resources
  • Expert in Excel and PowerPoint
