JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Vice President of Document Recording, is responsible for the overall management, supervision and objectives of the Document Recording team.

Scope/Responsibilities: The Assistant Vice President is responsible for meeting delivery, productivity, quality and Service Level Standards. The Assistant Vice President is responsible for ensuring that team members are effectively trained, coached and mentored for continual improvement and professional growth. The Assistant Vice President is expected to meet with other Department heads and Senior Leadership in the pursuit of consistent improvement and development of organizational strategies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Oversee and coordinate multiple teams and outsource vendor’s daily workload to ensure timely submission of documents to the county
  • Oversee and coordinate multiple teams and outsource vendor’s daily workload to ensure timely confirmation of recording of documents already sent to the county
  • Reviewing daily reports and scorecard items specific to the recording team in order to identify and remediate exception items and to identify trends that may be areas of concern.
  • Oversee and coordinate teams that are responsible for the remediation of recording defects
  • Ensure staff adherence to internal guidelines as well as regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Work with internal leadership and external clients to develop strategies to improve processes to enhance client and consumer experience for closings.
  • Conduct Divisional meetings to communicate corporate related updates as well as updated client requirements, system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing needs.
  • Responsible for ensuring adherence to client service levels and a quality output for numerous functions within the closing process.
  • Participate in client calls and Monthly Business Reviews.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Minimum of 5 years mortgage experience in a leadership role in title/closing field.
  • College Degree Preferred.
  • Must have multi state title/closing experience.
  • Solid computer skills required.
