Scope/Responsibilities: Operational oversight for single or multiple defined functions within a sub-segment of a business channel or corporate staff function. Provides thought leadership and planning for areas of responsibility.  Direct Report to SVP or VP. Manages Manager and/or below Manager level resources. Responsible for medium and/or short-term business entity planning and/or operational direction. Decisions have a moderate impact on assigned business area.


  • Supports the implementation of client requests and resolution of operational issues, which can range from custom report build outs, marketing strategies, servicing process changes, etc. Oversight of performance post-implementation, identification of issues and risks, and portfolio change management.
  • Effectively manage multiple high-visibility relationships by providing technical, functional, and process leadership to reduce loss and increase profitability for major sub-servicing clients and investors.
  • Acts as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies, including high-level staff such as directors, presidents, senior vice presidents Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary.
  • Leads and directs the work of others in collaborative & effective manner, including cross-functional strategy and plan development.
  • Monitors tracking and performance monitoring mechanisms, as necessary, to keep management team apprised of operational activities. Maintain awareness of the mortgage industry and make recommendations to management as appropriate.
  • Drive the development of the brand loyalty and implement policy, procedure, and atmosphere to support corporate goals, including excellent customer service and borrower focus.
  • Provides mentoring/assistance to teams, project teams and coworkers where sub-servicing clients and investors are involved/impacted.
  • Ensure compliance with agency, State, Government, and company guidelines and laws.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience preferred.

Supports the Client Delivery Team portfolio managers in their efforts to implement and fulfill upon operational servicing issues, items and requests associated with Mr. Cooper sub-servicing clients, investors, and insurers. Responsible for supporting the development of successful client relationships as well as driving a streamlined communication protocol with clients and internal Servicing, Business Development, Marketing and Originations partners.
