Mr. Cooper is looking for a Principal, SEM/SEO to join our Marketing Originations (Direct to Consumer) Team. You will generate revenue by increasing online traffic through optimized digital strategies. Reporting into the VP of Digital Marketing, you will serve as the SEM subject matter expert for multiple internal customers, buying keywords directly from the Google portal.
What you’ll do
Develop SEM strategy across multiple platforms like Google Ads. GDN, YouTube Advertising, Bing ads, and Discovery Ads.
Orchestrate campaign lifecycle from planning, keyword analysis, ad copy creation, to the strategic use of Audience targeting to provide targeted ads to motivated customers and increase conversion rates.
Implement appropriate conversion optimization, goal tracking and reporting for online and offline marketing campaigns.
Write paid search copy, ensuring Brand guidelines met, for new ads and test and optimize existing ads.
Maintain keyword bids, account daily/monthly budget caps, impression share, transactions, leads, cost per transaction, cost per lead, and quality scores.
Provide strategic recommendations for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search.
Get hands-on with large datasets by analyzing trends developing strategic recommendations with the goal of always improving campaign effectiveness.
Forecast impressions, clicks, cost and analyze results weekly; this includes generating weekly CPA for the digital channel.
Education and Experience
5 years of digital marketing experience, with 3 years of SEM experience.
4+ years of hands-on experience in marketing project management or account management role dealing with digital projects, website in particular.
Experience with copy for SEM and social media.
Experience with A/B testing.
Experience with Website maintenance, understanding of workflows and dependencies.
Experience with conversion funnels.
Understanding of Google Analytics and testing platforms such as Google Optimize.
Experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Per Click (PPC).
Familiarity with mortgage (or similarly regulated industry) products/marketing/regulatory.
