The Senior Strategic Initiatives professional helps identify the path to reach the company’s short-term and long-term strategic goals. With the opportunity to work across all functions within the organization, this role will build a foundational understanding of the end-to-end operations to develop, oversee and help implement initiatives that support a company's vision. Reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, the Senior Strategic Initiatives provides project-focused support, critical insights using structured analysis, ensures cross functional alignment across priorities, and helps the organization drive strategic initiatives forward with hands-on support.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop recommendations on critical business issues using both internal and external sources of information
  • Leads development of specific action plans with business leaders across the organization
  • Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, identify resources, execute, control and complete initiatives on time
  • Assemble and coordinate cross-functional team in partnership with leadership from lines of business and provide direction and support
  • Schedule and facilitate discussions with key stakeholders to navigate decision making
  • Track progress, deliverables, monitor, flag risks, communicate issues and facilitate resolution in a timely manner
  • Help identify process efficiencies
  • Work closely with lines of business to prioritize goals

Core Requirements:

  • Ability to lead/ project manage cross-functional teams working on complex, operational and strategic initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and good business judgment
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent prioritization skills with a clear focus on results
  • Ability to combine strategic vision with everyday tactical detail and a strong urge for action
  • Strong communication skills: writes and presents effectively; strong ability to adapt delivery and style to fit the audience and message; able to deliver messages that are clearly understood
  • Demonstrated success in problem solving
  • Experience facilitating collaboration
  • College degree with 3-5 years project management experience
  • Experience with regulated industries preferred
