Manages a group responsible for providing accurate financial information, maintaining data integrity, as well as, credit dispute resolution, audit responses and manage client relationships.

Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible for oversight and management of Credit Reporting processes and outputs in both production and development regions.
  • Manage relationships and liaise with internal and external resources and senior leaders to meet all business and compliance requirements for Credit Reporting.
  • Identification of key risks and implementation of proper remediation plans to ensure they are managed effectively.
  • Prepares Executive Management level reporting.
  • Develop and implement cost saving strategies while maintaining a focus on customer experience.
  • Responsible for ensuring the Credit Reporting Team deliverables including recurring and ad hoc reporting.
  • Manage multiple projects of varying priorities and size.
  • Create operational flow-charts with business requirements documentation for new processes, control points and other reporting requirements.
  • Review and analyze reporting around Credit Reporting processes and speak to any items of interest as requested from executive management.
  • Maintain and analyze forecasting tool to effectively manage staffing needs across all processes in Credit Reporting.
  • Complete customer impact analysis of the Credit Reporting processes for identification and implementation of process improvement strategies.
  • Manage SLA timelines.
  • Assistance with quality control checks within the team.
  • Analyzing exception reports, verification of error messages and miscellaneous codes to determine processing procedures.
  • Develop trending / stat report.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as delegated by management.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred.  Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows operating system.  Working knowledge of MS Excel, Access, Word and SQL is highly preferred.
  • Data entry keystroke skills – 10 key by touch highly preferred.
  • LPS/LSAMS experience preferred.
  • Minimum five years Loan Servicing experience within Mortgage or Financial Services preferred.
