The Loan Administration Associate II is responsible for reviewing and auditing vendor managed loans. The agent’s primary focus will be on Loss Draft and Insurance, assisting the Vendor and at times will need to contact the borrower during escalated/time sensitive matters to obtain or to provide information.  Agent will have Daily tasks and will also assist as needed in their crossed-trained roles. Agent’s tasks will include but not limited to Vendor Invoice recon, Tracking Daily Production numbers, monitoring Offshore tasks, quality checks of all processes, Internal Audit rebuttals, responding to escalated requests timely, creating/updating policy and procedures and ensuring process completed according to internal & regulatory policies for the servicing of Reverse Mortgages.


Level II Specialist must be capable of acting as a team-lead in the absence of senior agent and management.  Additionally, this person is often the subject matter expert for 1 or multiple functions and assumes the responsibilities associated with this, including process and account-level inquiry from business partners.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Produce across a multitude of Reverse Escrow Oversite and Loss Draft processes which serve to monitor and move loans through each process in accordance with HUD guidelines.  Maintain working relationship with assigned account vendor and process workout solutions.
  • Become certified in a minimum 50% of total processes within Reverse Escrow Oversite tasks (Tax, Insurance, HOA and Loss Draft)
  • Communicate daily with Vendor to maintain reporting for daily/monthly production.
  • Analyze documents for required information.
  • Precise data-entry into the servicing system.
  • Cross-train team members to increase the efficiency of the department.
  • Assist Management/Senior associates with day-to-day processes such as working with other business units to resolve account issues, research account-history/documents and provide summary findings.
  • Responsible for training new/existing staff and identifying training/development needs.
  • Establish/update/maintain procedures.
  • Serve as SME of escalations, within your assigned processes, for resolution and remedies.
  • Assist in reviewing & rebutting internal audit findings.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred.  Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Experience in any of the following: Loss Draft, Tax, Insurance, HOA
  • Proven track record of working/managing multiple processes
  • 1+ year of experience as a Support Operations Specialist is required.
  • General understanding of federal and state mortgage servicing requirements, standards and servicing processes preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and its functions (V-lookup, pivot-tables, etc..)
  • Audit/QC and Training Experience is a plus
