We are looking to employ a Communications Specialist with exceptional verbal and writing skills. A Communications Specialist is expected to be a strategic thinker with a meticulous attention to detail, working well under pressure and meeting deadlines.  You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, Communications Specialists should be innovative, organized and self-motivated with a keen interest in driving strategic messages to key internal and external role-players. Responsible for gathering, creating, editing and sending various communications to external clients and investors.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Manage, coordinate, and improve our communication flows, within and outside the company
  • Responsible for the delivery of various scheduled communications/information output to external clients as well as impromptu communications as needed
  • Create and edit content
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with Senior Leaders and external clients
  • Effectively collaborate with all lines of business to quickly understand items that may need to be communicated externally

JOB COMPETENCIES

  • Effectively communicate with multiple highly visible partners by providing technical, functional, and process communications on a regular basis
  • Strong communication, writing and oral presentation skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at various levels of management
  • Strategic thinker with a meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of the company’s policies, principles and strategies, and to keep up-to-date with relevant developments.
  • Organized and self-motivated with a keen interest in driving strategic messages to key internal and external role-players.
  • Ensure compliance with agency, State, Government, and company guidelines and laws.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree and typically 7+ years of relevant experience preferred
  • Previous experience crafting communications going to internal and external parties
  • Demonstrated change management experience 
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
  • Process-driven with an ability to analyze and optimize Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and communication skills 
  • Attention to detail for reporting development and analytics
