Generally, what would you do as an AVP of Vendor Admin?  

Analyze operational opportunities and develop strategies to achieve department objectives that align with overall company objectives.  Develop and implement strategies to recruit and retain the highest quality vendor panel.  Manage the daily activities of a team within the Vendor Administration Department and ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.    


  • Create a strategy to improve all vendor admin functions from recruiting to orientation/onboarding, order follow up and fulfillment, and vendor retention 

  • Oversee the following functions: recruiting, vendor search, onboarding, exception management, order follow up and fulfillment and overall vendor admin related functions 

  • Perform oversight of vendor recruits through the credentialing period  

  • Ensure new vendor success 

  • Ensure appropriate vendor coverage for each market

  • Drive performance and maintain a stable vendor network

  • Collaborate with internal departments to confirm vendor compliance to department requirements 

  • Ensure vendor submissions are in line with client/investor expectations 

  • Manage the hosting of vendor webinars and communications 

  • Provide regular status updates, reports to leadership, and recommend process improvements 

  • Suggest areas of opportunity to improve data submission, bids, photos etc. 

  • Handle internal/external escalations 

  • Provide direction to non-exempt employees according to established policies and management guidance.  

  • Perform all personnel management for an assigned group, to include timekeeping and approving time away from the office and all forms of attendance.   

  • Writes and delivers employee performance reviews, provides performance feedback, involved in hiring decisions and administers disciplinary action.   

  • Engages in regular coaching sessions with team members to develop skills or improve performance.   

Think you’re qualified? Here’s what we’re looking for:  

  • 5+ years of people management experience 

  • 5+ years of experience with Vendor Management/Property Preservation/Field Services/Valuations preferred

  • High School diploma or equivalent required 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

The AVP of Vendor Administration will oversee vendor compliance, recruiting, onboarding, and order fulfillment. The position ensures the business complies with overall governance, best practices, and alignment of vendor relationships with all lines of the business. The AVP is responsible for identifying any and all issues which may cause deterioration to Company serviced assets and implement policy and procedures to prevent further risk to the portfolio.
