The Account Services Associate II is responsible for payment applications and other cash transactions where primary functions are exception based and work flow items fall outside of normal processing routines.  This includes, but is not limited to, the posting of borrower payments, loss liquidations, loan payoffs, NSF’s, misapplication reversals and bankruptcy related transactions.

Essential Job Functions

  • Processing exception items that fall outside of normal processing routines.
  • Research and resolve Account Services related disputed items.
  • Research and resolve escalated customer complaints/issues.
  • Perform processing and oversight responsibilities for suspense related items
  • Direct assistance with Audits, as applicable
  • Balancing, reconciliation, research and resolution of Payment Clearing Account Reconciliation outages.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred.  Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Minimum one year Data Operations, Loan Servicing, or Real Estate Lending experience in an Account Services enivonrment within Mortgage or Financial Services preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows operating system. 
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Access, and Word is highly preferred.
  • Data entry keystroke skills – 10 key by touch highly preferred.
  • LPS/LSAMS/CHIP experience preferred.
  • Proficient with facsimile, photocopier
  • Proficient with ACOM Check Printer.
  • Proficient with IDD Check Scanner
  • Proficient with Quick Check Printer
