A hands-on product leader with the ability to gather industry and technology trends to identify product gaps, net new and next generation of products and services that expand Xome’s marketability, revenue potential and value proposition while streamlining end user workflow and reducing total cost of ownership.

You will be a strategic partner to the business units and engineering teams relentlessly representing and advocating for Xome’s customers while simultaneously listening and responding to all stakeholders across the company. In alignment with the functional business unit’s strategic objectives, you will craft a rich product portfolio, execute to a truly dynamic roadmap to support Xome’s strategic vision, and also inspire diverse and talented teams to think out of the box and to bring the best of breed solutions that leverage both current and emerging technology.

About You

  • As a product manager, you have a passion for developing innovative product solutions to solve complex business problems and have in-depth working knowledge of Product Lifecycle methodologies
  • You have the right mix of strategic and hands-on leadership skills
  • You have an analytical mindset and have experience in analysis techniques such as requirements gathering and use case development
  • You’re a fantastic communicator and have worked with diverse geographic teams and succeeded in driving clarity, alignment and collaboration to deliver product solutions
  • You are customer obsessed and passionate about solving problems using latest technologies
  • You’re intuitive, and you know how to invent on behalf of the customer before they ask
  • You’re an entrepreneur. You see ambiguity as opportunity and obstacles as the chance to create

Your Charter

  • Execute to Product Roadmap initiatives that support Xome’s product vision and strategy
  • Facilitate and document industry landscape, competitive advantages and differences
  • Develop and lead a data-driven process to identify, prioritize, and evaluate product initiatives and build our product roadmap
  • Drive the implementation of the product roadmap by partnering closely with our engineering, operations, client success, and data teams
  • Serve as a strong advocate for a product-centric culture, our mission, and continued innovation and product excellence
  • Collaborate and coordinate system requirements as a result of partnering with stakeholders, user journey mapping, pain point documentation, user group feedback, production support logs et al.   Confirm requirements with visual diagrams and / or proof of concept tools / prototypes to reduce development re-work or continuous changes or update needs.  
  • Deliver requirements in ‘development ready’ format while providing product guidance during Agile ceremonies
  • Develop and manage the goals and metrics that encompass each part of our business
  • Continuously communicate with internal and external stakeholders to collect feedback, prioritize needs, and explain our short- and long-term product goals and meet solution adoption goals
  • Lead Product Marketing initiatives across product portfolio

  • Expertise redefining and building consumer technologies driven internally by new science and externally by usability
  • A proven background in defining, implementing, leveraging and leading a best of breed product life cycle practice
  • Experienced in data based decision making, building and owning large product roadmaps using OKR metrics and driving consistent value using AGILE methodologies
  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or related experience is a plus
  • Prior experience with Confluence and JIRA preferred
  • 3-5 years prior Product Owner experience preferred.
