The Executive Principal, Product Management will help transform how Mr. Cooper accepts, processes and applies payments across all our customer channels. This is an officer-level, hands-on individual contribution position. In this role you will oversee the end-to-end payment journeys, survey the market landscape for viable new innovative ideas to drive the digital transformation. You will become and serve as the subject matter expert on every aspect of how payments work, what systems are involved, reporting metrics around customer behaviors, payment types, volumes and performance as well as drive our payment features roadmap across all touch points. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: POSITION OVERVIEW 

  • Assess new transformational ideas/projects submitted by business partners, channel owners and product managers throughout the business for the impacts these projects may have on the business by driving or assisting to build out cost benefit analysis cases, feasibility (time-cost estimates) and a strong point of view on the opportunity. 

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain the digital product roadmap, and present to company leaders, clients and other stakeholders 

  • Develop functional specifications, diagrams, and use cases to define the platform and product enhancements and conduct usability studies to insure the effectiveness of products. 

  • Work with cross functional teams to design the user experience, project scheduling, and interaction with development teams to complete desired projects. 

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to launch products and enhancements insuring they operate effectively and meet project objectives. 

  • Work with the marketing team to create materials to promote our solution and value proposition. 

WHO YOU ARE: SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

  • You are curious, driven and have proven experience collaborating with product managers in a cross functional setting to define requirements. 

  • You are comfortable with imperfect information. You embrace the process of working incrementally and iteratively to define, own and deliver an awesome product. 

  • You are comfortable working in a (highly) regulated industry and are prepared to do the necessary work to meet legal and compliance requirements without compromising customer experience.   

  • You are able to prioritize work and effectively manage to deadlines. 

  • You should be passionate about product ownership and live and breathe the user experience, as well as have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the backbone and tact to gain team buy-in and drive collaboration. You should also have an outstanding track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time. Being meticulous and detail-oriented, ensuring that compliance and branding standards are adhered through in every stage of the SDLC is an important component of this role as well.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Qualified candidates have a very strong product management / ownership background with demonstrated expertise (7-10+ years’) in working with customers to deliver world-class technology solutions. 

  • Candidates should have 7-10+ years’ prior experience in agile software development environments and should be comfortable working in cross-functional teams with developers, designers, etc. 

  • Domain/Industry knowledge of the real estate and mortgage industry is a plus. Will consider personal experience in the industry, but professional work experience is preferred. 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required. Master’s degree is considered a plus.
