When Mr. Cooper Group returns to normal operations, this role mayreturn to the assigned onsite work location or operate on a hybrid model (remote and on-site) dependent on the team.   


The Product Analyst Intern will focus on analytical work to learn basic product management and support, but to also expand their awareness of how systems interact with each other and the criticality of technological systems within the mortgage industry. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team and gain exposure to "behind the scenes" aspects of the mortgage sales industry, advanced technology systems, and the product management lifecycle. This is an individual contributor position. You will be a subject matter expert for the product’s various stakeholders, manage customer feedback, monitor usage trends, and test releases. Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Complete tickets submitted by our sales staff 

  • Analyze issues within our system and troubleshoot for solutions 

  • Implementing new functionality when required 

  • Review reports and propose actions based on the data 

  • Manage feedback from app users to inform the development process 

  • Validate and test new features and app versions to support a continuous release process 

  • Monitor production issues and escalate accordingly to see the issue through to resolution 

  • Other duties as assigned 


Basic Qualifications 

  • Enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university or have graduated within one year of start date (June 2022)  

  • Majoring in Business, Information Systems, or technology-related degree 

  • Candidates must have authorization to work permanently in the US without the need for sponsorship (Currently, our organization is unable to support candidates that are on OPT, CPT or candidates that will need sponsorship, now or in the future)    


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Strong organizational skills 

  • Technically savvy  comfortable learning new systems and digging into different systems dealing with configuration, research, and troubleshooting  

  • Knowledge of lead management systems, telecom, Middleware, ticketing systems 

  • Committed self-starter with a demonstrated history of strong work ethic and reliable task completion
