No day will be the same, but some key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Program Manager, Product Owner, Product Manager and the business, establish roadmap items and priorities that maximize business goals.
  • Leads sessions with project stakeholders to determine the business and IT requirements for roadmap items that ensure maximum quantifiable business value is derived.
  • Is intimately familiar with SQL and can provide data analysis day over day to the project team once becoming familiar with Mr. Cooper’s data structures.
  • Implements and coordinates documentation and communication of change across the entire business operation in consultation with appointed project SMES.
  • Provides stakeholders with timely assessment of projects, quality or risk issues with early identification of project issues and risks impacting completion.
  • Updates project reporting to provide accurate, timely, relevant and concise information for executive consumption and reaction.
  • Manages expenditures within budgeted levels while ensuring superior delivery.
  • Documents business requirements for IT consumption as needed.
  • All other responsibilities as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications

Demonstrated growth in a past role that challenged you to learn new behaviors and/or acquire new skills.

Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred.  Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.

Six Sigma or Project Management Professional designation preferred.

Data analytic skills required.

SQL skills (expert level) required

Encompass Loan Origination System or mortgage / financial systems experience a plus.

Familiarity and knowledge of agency and government loan programs and guidelines, processes and procedures a plus.

Ability to pass a background check, credit check and drug screening.

Ability to travel as necessary to get projects completed (post Covid).

Team members share knowledge, raise ideas, challenge the status quo and support peers. Project Management and Duties: This is a multi-faceted role where you will manage and execute on strategic projects. You will coordinate with the product owner and individual(s) who complete process mapping, business and IT analysis. You will have a matrix of people across the organization not reporting to you who you must influence to achieve and exceed the project and business goals. You get into the weeds with business analysis and drafting business requirements and on the same day work to set executive objectives. This role is a doer role. Each day, you question why something is being done and then determine how to best achieve project objectives using data analytics and being an expert at our processes, product and procedures.
