Provide financial analysis and control supporting the Information Technology Department. In addition to monthly reporting and variance analysis, this position will perform:

  • Business case development for new technology projects
  • Detailed analysis of headcount and functions - Employee, Contractor, Offshore
  • Financial support for technology vendor negotiations
  • Project accounting and capital investment decision support
  • Development and support Total Cost of Ownership analytics
  • Expense Optimization
  • Cloud migration analytics
  • Business advisory and partnering for IT teams

  • Ability to lead the development of staff objectives, provide insight and guidance to establish benchmarks and output, follow up on a regular basis to assure objectives are met, and coach staff to maximize performance

  • Demonstrated experience leading critical initiatives, including project development, identifying needed resources and key milestones, and effectively monitoring progress to conclusion

  • Strong comprehension of GAAP accounting and financial statements
  • Strong Excel skills including financial modeling, pivot tables, etc.
  • Prior Mortgage servicing industry experience a plus. Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline required
  • 10+ years Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)/financial reporting experience preferred
  • TM1, Essbase or similar database experience (TM1 Preferred)
  • SQL experience preferred, but not required
  • Certification including Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
  • Prior public accounting experience a plus.

Summary

Responsible for a centralized finance department that provides support to general ledger accounting, financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable. Responsible for all financial planning (short-term and long-term) and analysis operations including financial controls (budgets), costs and general accounting. Plays a critical leadership role in providing key financial insight that helps company's strategic decision, financial forecasts and operating plans. May oversee the preparation and analysis of the annual operating plans and earnings projections.
