Role/Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders, business unit product owners, development teams to understand business needs and technical requirements
Build queries for reporting and other data integration needs for reporting and business use
Interpret legacy queries, and optimize queries for runtime performance
Play actively in all aspects of data handling like ETL, Scripting, documentation, monitoring, and support
Research new ways to improve existing solution, thereby adding more value
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor degree or above preferably in CS
4+ years of experience in writing queries and ETL
Very strong knowledge in MS-SQL (TSQL) with query performance tuning/optimization
Strong experience in ETL tools like MS-SSIS (or any ETL tool)
Handling and managing SQL/ETL Jobs
Experience in Visualization tools like Tableau or power BI
Understand data architectures and build relational/dimensional databases and establishment methods to improve functional reporting data content and completeness of data.
Experience working collaboratively, including building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders/clients
Nice to Have Qualities & Skills
Flexibility to learn and apply new methodologies
Mortgage Industry experience /knowledge
Exposure to Azure Cloud/Google Cloud Platform
Experience in Python
