JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for managing all client relationship support for the Affinity and Data Services business unit. Business units focus is on building real estate data products either through SaaS offerings or data outputs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, creation and facilitation of weekly and monthly business reviews which will include creating, providing and presenting recurring/ad hoc reporting and presentations to the client and Sr. Management. Lead initiatives to increase market share by collaborating with the Xome Business Development team to design and deliver sales presentations for potential new clients and increase wallet share with existing clients. Additional responsibilities include the support of new and existing clients through daily interaction via phone and email or ticketing system, client site visits, account or technical problem resolution, and support the completion of Request for Proposals (RFPs), and onboard new clients into production. Position involves collaboration between Operations, Product, and technical teams.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION

  • Act as the Line of Business (LOB) Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for meetings relating to the planning of and facilitating of a prospective Client in the late stages of the business development lifecycle (no services currently offered) or existing Client (currently offering service or expanded products/services).
  • The candidate will facilitate meetings with clients for recurring performance reviews, discover opportunities, and anything operational relating to Company/Client engagement. This includes operational discussions that are generally more frequent in nature (weekly/bi-monthly). The Candidate will manage collecting agenda items, engaging the appropriate internal participants, and documenting/following up on deliverables.
  • Serve as an escalation contact for the Client to resolve issues.
  • Serve as the SPOC relating to the ingestion of and development/delivery of reporting requests from a current Client. The Candidate will coordinate all internal discussions, if applicable, and serve as the SPOC with the Client to document and deliver the reporting requests.
  • Offers recommendations for improvement to current processes and systems.
  • Attend industry-specific conference and trade shows, as needed.
  • On-site travel to Client location as needed.
  • Other duties as required.

  • Technical Knowledge of SaaS and Data products: Understand clients use cases and needs in relation to SaaS real estate products as well as needs in relation to bulk data offerings (MLS, Public Records, AVM).
  • Real Estate Industry Knowledge: Ideal candidate will have an understanding of the needs of Real Estate Servicers, Originators and investors.
  • Time Management: Uses his/her time effectively and efficiently; values time; concentrates his/her efforts on the more important priorities; gets more done in less time than others; can attend to a broader range of activities.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

What level of education or specialized training is required to perform the job?

  • Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a business discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred. 

List any special certifications, licenses, and/or knowledge requirements for this job:

  • Bachelors’ Degree
  • Efficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledgeable or demonstrate the aptitude to learn software systems.

How many years of directly related job experience are required to be qualified to enter the job?

  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience highly preferred within one of the related fields: mortgage, title, and/or real estate.

Summary

The Principal, Client Relations will be responsible for retention and growth of our client base through individual efforts and efforts of the Affinity and Data Services team, building strong client relationships, and being the expert on Xome's products and the industry to proactively guide and consult with clients.
