Responsible for managing and coordinating all duties and tasks involved in the valuation, marketing, and disposition of Real Estate Owned properties. Each investor’s requirements may vary based on the client’s servicing guidelines set forth for their specific portfolio. This position will require timely & effective communication with Real Estate Agents, internal partners, & vendors to reach a positive resolution for the sale of the Real Estate Owned Property.


  • Responsible for making decisions regarding marketing strategies, agent assignment and offer negotiations on bank owned assets.
  • Make decisions regarding property repair costs, maintenance, utilities, legal fees, valuation fees, and other cost related items necessary to reach a timely disposition.
  • Accountable for reducing the disposition timeline while balancing and minimizing investor losses
  • Directly responsible for meeting and exceeding clients expectations and adhering to guidelines and policies set forth.
  • Ability to gather and analyze complex data and develop clear logical marketing strategies
  • Accountable for managing and engaging real estate agents to market and sell REO properties.
  • Maintain current status reports of REO properties with real estate agents in regards to marketing efforts, showings, etc.
  •  Prepare monthly projections report detailing number of sales, sales dates and estimate of losses.
  • Ability to effectively manage 150-200 assets, while providing best in class customer service.
  • Work in tandem with pre-marketing team, evictions team, property preservation team, auction team, and closing team to minimize timelines and maximize recovery.
  • Provide feedback to leadership relative to process improvements, challenges, and demonstrate leadership skills within peer group.
  • Conduct periodic on-site inspections of REO properties.
  • All other duties as assigned.


  • Graduation from a 4-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position is preferred.
  • Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience & education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Experience with REO asset management is required
  • Efficient in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledgeable or demonstrate the aptitude to learn software systems including LSAMS,, Equator, Process Management (fka LPS Desktop)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Real Estate, Loss Mitigation, Real Estate Owned, or any combination thereof.
