Essential Job Functions

  • Conducts interviews and hires staff
  • Manages day to day activities of the sales staff
  • Holds regular meetings with the sales staff, reviewing sales strategies, best practices, new products and product enhancements.
  • Develops strategy for building and maintaining account base, utilizing effective sales techniques
  • Achieve monthly performance standards
  • Achieve monthly call queue performance standards
  • Enhance loan agent sales, customer service and technical skills
  • Monitor agent originations, fundings and loan conversion percentages performance
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in all areas
  • Weekly meetings informing staff of expectations and weekly/monthly goals
  • Weekly training, covering new products and procedure changes
  • Daily meetings with Director/VP’s
  • Sales Team pipeline management
  • Ensures that sales staff is following company policies and procedures
  • Assistance with daily tasks such as DU/LP

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have two years of management experience in the mortgage banking industry
  • Minimum of 5 years of mortgage banking sales experience is preferred.
