The purpose of this position is to provide leadership, vision and direction to key business initiatives by integrating processes and information in support of the business mission.  The Project Manager is responsible for working with Business Partners and Project Teams to analyze, design, implement and/or support business applications/systems. Additionally, the Project Manager develops detailed functional system and program specifications using structured design methodologies.


  • Performs research and analysis to support business operations and presents findings to manager and senior leadership
  • Plans and designs business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and support business systems and activities and/or to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency
  • Analyzes and documents existing business processes and metrics and identifies improvement opportunities
  • Identifies and implements best practices and suggests how to improve current practices
  • Develops recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations
  • Triage and troubleshoot business and operational issues using systems and data in the most effective and productive manner
  • Leverage and collaborate with Business Support Team, Marketing, Capital Markets, Finance, Technology, Risk, and other key partners
  • Design and develop business communications and supplemental training materials such as job aids, FAQ’s and desk reference guides.
  • Assist in the development of training for teams and facilitate training on a regular and ad hoc basis as required.

  • Education & Professional Experience: Bachelor's degree and typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related work experience. Mortgage and/or Financial Services experience a plus. PMP and/or Six Sigma Certifications required.

Participates in and supports strategic initiatives; ability to train new or existing staff when necessary. Capable of supporting strategic initiatives. Forges a new direction; owns the change process and consistently challenges the status quo with great ideas. Creates an environment that encourages innovation & reasonable risk-taking.

Understands the business and uses information to make cost-effective decisions; capable of making independent decisions using available information. Shows insight into the root-causes of problems and generates a range of solutions and courses of action; may lead projects potentially involving other departments. Highly collaborative and requires minimal coaching from his/her leader to get the job done.

Scope of work frequently impacts and influences other business units and processes. Builds customer-centric solutions that go beyond customer expectations.   • Communication:  Possesses confident, articulate, and professional speaking ability. Known to craft concise, structured written correspondence that effectively incorporates a clear objective. Driven to offer helpful suggestions to complex problems. Excellent presentation skills. Dedicates time to recognize others’ contributions.
  • Technical Proficiency:  Demonstrate advanced proficiency in all Microsoft applications and software necessary for job function. Capable of problem-solving using technical software or applications. Strong emphasis on data analytics. Project Management, Technical Writing, Process Flow Documentation, Microsoft SQL 2000/T-SQL experience preferred.
