Job Function


Analyzes approved or proposed compensation plans and determines source data needs and requirements for setting up calculations in SAP Commission System. 

May provide input to proposed plan changes to ensure efficient administration.

Leverage technical knowledge and Incentive Commission expertise to drive business process improvements.


Participate in complete End-to-End SAP Commission System Development & Maintenance.


Work Closely with IT integration/ETL team to make sure implemented logic is as per Commission System standard.


Documents standard operating procedures for application configuration to ensure consistency of system setup so that knowledge transfer and troubleshooting have maximum efficiency and to facilitate the training of payroll staff.

Provides regression and other testing of system changes as needed to ensure accuracy of system maintenance and/or enhancements.


Acts as liaison between internal customers and external vendors as needed.

Additional Duties

  • May assist with training commissions specialists on the SAP Commissions process as needed.
  • Generate calculated commission records for Payroll/Incentive Commission admin as needed.
  • Maintains and tracks all issue/work using standard Issue Tracking Processes
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Skilled in End-to-End SAP Commission System configuration.
  • Expert knowledge in writing packages/procedure using Oracle PL/SQL
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge in Report system design (Crystal Report / Power BI / Embedded Analytics)
  • Basic knowledge in Informatica Power Center & Informatica Cloud.
  • Ability to Design , Configure and Partner with project team to develop , test and deploy solution.
  • Ability to co-ordinate with multiple IT team to explain commission logic requirement.  
  • Ability to prioritize work to ensure Commission Systems are up to date and running always.
  • Ability to analyze business and technical processes and determine ways of making them more efficient
  • Ability to work effectively while maintaining high degrees of attention to detail, accuracy, and poise under pressure.


What level of education or specialized training is required to perform the job?

  • Prefer a minimum of a 4-year degree.

3-4 years of relevant work experience

Responsible for but not limited to calculation of commission payments from beginning to end for each applicable payroll period, ensuring accurate inputs, processes, and calculations. Configures and inputs data to the commission/incentive system to ensure all entries are audited for accuracy in a timely manner. Ensures all audit and SOX controls are met. Identifies process improvement opportunities to manager and broader team. Assists in setting up new plans with the appropriate systems configuration for calculation with payment systems.
